Prepare Before Rejoining
Are you thinking to rejoin you previous job as a stripper? There is nothing wrong with returning on the previous job. There might be several reasons for you such as you have no money or may be you are not satisfied with your new job. Most of ex-stripper wants of rejoin as a stripper. You just need enough preparation and planning time to set your mind including exotic dancing after a long break. I was the stripper and just return as stripper after long period of time, 3 years. For so long, my experience as a stripper has been great. It is quite difficult to work up with lots of courage with this line “just do it”. When I completed one my first strip, I was comfortable and ready to do more. I promise that back on the top with challenge is a fun. You just need to remember your success and how much you enjoy totally depends on your mentality.
Mental preparation – The time that you spend during the break in this real world possibly humbled you a lot. Now you are going to rejoin the world of fantasy as a stripper again. At first you will be bit hesitate after few time you will become more confident and able to do more.
As you were away for short period of time from this field and you may forget negative things that you experienced before but you should try hard to remember the negative aspects of stripping. You will come up with the same challenges which you faced before. The key advantage you have now is a factor that is called ‘hindsight’. So, if you will face this kind of challenges again, you will be better prepared to overcome these challenges. It is far better than being caught off guard.
Despite the bad things are associated with this industry or any other bad experienced that you faced in the past but as whole stripping is quite fun as well. Take it as job not as lifestyle. Leave your stage name at the club when you are off and always try not to work extra. Try to involve yourself in other activities that will keep you grounded and balanced. If you are suffering from cold feet again, would give you an advice that you should visit few clubs in your local area and get re-introduced to the scene. Keep noticing the costumes and styles that girls are using so that you will not go with outdated style. You may either become waitress first or enter in part-time contest. If you have extreme case of jitters then only do this. You will get back to the environment seamlessly.
Physical Preparation
You can skip this option you are in the same figure as you were before. Lack of vigorous exercise may cause metabolism slow down. You have to decide whether you are satisfied with your first presentation or not. If you want to step back on the stage with attractive shape, then you need to work out first. Getting good shape again is good idea. If you don’t have a time to exercise and need to join immediately then make sure to do exercise before and after your shifts. The advantage of being in the same figure or shape will come in the form of extra energy and tips. It is not necessary to join health club. Walking a few miles everyday and little bit exercise will help you to get shaped body and glow on your skin.
Getting back into the Swing of Things
After joining back you should contact all the past friends if they are still in the clubs. Ask about the laws, house rules or fees and management changes during your hiatus. These changes might effect your decision of joining back. So, don’t forget to find out that what you have to change.
Child Care
If you have school age children then you can select working in a day shift. During this shift you don’t need to pay for day care. If day shift is not right for you then you need to find someone who will take care of your child in your absence. It would be in the best interest of your children if you weren’t getting home at the night. Their lives shouldn’t be turned upside down just because you wish to dance again. Try to make the transition simple for them also. If you child will be happy then you will feel less guilty. You can also work alternate days so that you are able to spend quality time with your children.
Your current job or school
You need to do some time management if you are working 9-5 on a job or stay in school. It is quite well to 9-5 with stripping. Doing so will keep yourself grounded. Go over your job or school schedule, and then take out some time for strip. Make sure that you will allow yourself to get enough sleep. It would be good for you, if you keep your stripping job a secret from your school fellow or co-workers. You also need peace of mind. There don’t keep yourself too busy with work.
Your family and friends
It is quite difficult to discuss this issue with your family and friends especially when you quit the first time. You would have to take the full control of your life. You have to make them understand that it becomes different this time. Ask them to give support to keep you grounded and you will leave this industry if you begin experiencing negativity.
